Captured for radio broadcast on a stop in Buffalo in early 1979, this recording finds N.Y.C.'s punk-pop overlords at a fever pitch, ripping through more than 20 of their earliest tunes one after another. Drummer Marky Ramone was new to the band and provides power-laden tempos for energetic readings of crowd favorites like "Rockaway Beach," "I Wanna Be Sedated," and, of course, "Blitzkrieg Bop." ~ Fred Thomas
